For about 1-hour CFC talked with D. Herrera and J. Lazarus about the City Attorney office and issues. Elections are 12.11.01

Debrief RAB- Navy meeting

<sum> Explanation of Significant Differences (ESD) for Parcel B Shipyard will be out in two weeks. The issue is if the Navy is allowed to move the high tide line, would allow the Navy to avoid clean up of Parcel B until required to clean Parcel F (550 acres in the Bay). Chris reported the draft might state the Navy will not move the line (good!), but the Navy would transfer the clean part of Parcel B first and then transfer dirty part of Parcel B later (bad!)

NEXT: ESD to be released 12.21, with 1 week to report back

Technical committee meeting Tuesday, 12.04.01 at ARC 833 Market St. #833, 6pm to cover: groundwater program and removal action strategy

<sum> Membership Committee- The Navy wants subcommittees‚ reports 2 weeks before the RAB meeting, with proposed agenda items. The membership committee (Jill, Ms. Washington, Keith, Dorothy, Lynne, Charles, and Barbara B.) Will meet 12.13.01 to review by-laws, new board members, and facilitator.
