Howdy Dave,

Just checked my email in Barcelona today and I must say I am completely shocked and saddened by what I saw. It was and still is hard for me to grasp what exactly I was looking at, but it seems as if years of your hard work have been destroyed in one fell swoop. My heart goes out to you, the park, the neighborhood, and all the volunteers who have turned this area around. Not to mention the birds and other animals who make the park their home. I can only think that the current drilling project was directly responsible for this disaster and I think it only appropriate that ammends be made.
